SUMMARY:Pompei: Below The Clouds
DESCRIPTION:From award-winning filmmaker Gianfranco Rosi comes Pompei: Below the Clouds\, a striking portrait of life in Naples\, a city living in the shadow of Vesuvius. Beneath the quiet threat of eruption\, people go about their days: archaeologists unearth the past\, children learn as the earth hums\, firefighters wait for the next call. The result is a portrait at once local and universal: a reflection on humanity’s capacity to live\, love\, and rebuild in the shadow of the unimaginable. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nRuntime: 114 minutes

SUMMARY:Calle Malaga
DESCRIPTION:“A lovely and very sweet film about a vibrant elderly Spanish woman Maria Angeles born in Morocco whose daughter sells her flat out from under her and leaves her in an old age home. Her whole life turned upside down\, she escapes the home\, moves back into her flat\, rebuys her furniture from an elderly man who seems uncaring\, and starts to make a living holding soccer match viewing parties with the local men who adore soccer – feeding them and charging a fee. In the meantime the furniture seller and Maria begin a late life affair that rekindles something in both. One of the fine details of the film is that Maria visits her friend\, a nun Josefa who has taken a vow of silence\, but to whom Maria spills out all her feelings about what’s happening to her. The other great thing about the film is that Maria Angeles is played by the incomparable Carmen Maura who easily commands the screen now as much as she did when she became an international star in the early films of Pedro Almodovar. Her performance is brilliant\, subtle and deeply emotional. She deserves an Oscar nomination for this performance. ” -Paul Barnes \n\n\n\n\n\n\n116 minutes \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLanguages: Spanish\, Arabic (English Subtitles)

SUMMARY:Kokuho
DESCRIPTION:March 20 All day \nNagasaki\, 1964. After the death of his father\, the leader of a yakuza gang\, 14-year-old Kikuo is taken under the wing of a famous Kabuki actor. Alongside Shunsuke\, the actor’s only son\, Kikuo decides to dedicate himself to this traditional form of theatre. Across decades\, the two young men grow and evolve together – from acting school to the grandest stages – amid scandals and glory\, brotherhood and betrayals\, as each pushes to become the greatest living Kabuki master. \nFrom acclaimed director Sang-il Lee (Pachinko)\, KOKUHO (meaning “national treasure”) is a film of awe-inspiring scope and sumptuous beauty\, and a monument to the artists who would sacrifice everything in the pursuit of the ultimate performance.

From her small town beginnings\, she went on to smash many glass ceilings at NASA in her career\, culminating in four dramatic and dangerous space shuttle missions. SUMMARY:Advance Base (fka Casiotone for the Painfully Alone) w/ Moontype
DESCRIPTION:The undefeated champion of melancholic sentimentality \n\n\n\n\nAdvance Base is the melancholic soft rock recording project of Chicago\, IL singer/songwriter Owen Ashworth (formerly of Casiotone for the Painfully Alone). Using a two-handed arsenal of electric piano\, Omnichord\, samplers\, effect pedals & drum machines\, Ashworth builds minimalist\, heavy-hearted\, & nostalgia-obsessed ballads around his conversational baritone. The warm\, electronic sound of Advance Base has been described as “lo-fi\,” “depressed” & “weirdly uplifting.” \nAnimal Companionship\, the third & most recent “studio” album by Advance Base\, was released September 21\, 2018 by Run For Cover Records / Orindal Records. GoldFlakePaint & Various Small Flames both listed Animal Companionship among their favorite albums of 2018. Since then\, Advance Base has released Wall of Tears & Other-Songs I Didn’t Write\, a home-recorded collection of (mostly) country/Americana covers arranged for electronic instruments & Live at Home\, a collection of mid-quarantine livestream concert performances & the closest representation of an Advance Base live set commercially available. A new single titled ”Little Sable Point Lighthouse” was released on March 31\, 2022. \n“It’s with no exaggeration we describe Owen Ashworth as one of the most consistent and important songwriters in contemporary indie music. From the earliest Casiotone For the Painfully Alone demos to most recent Advance Base single ‘Little Sable Point Lighthouse‘\, Owen has crafted a catalogue of characters and circumstances with few rivals in the modern era. His is an ever evolving body of work which stands out in its deftness and humility and empathy and care\, bringing to life individuals from across the spectrum of human experience while remaining unerringly attuned to the tender\, fallible heart at the centre of each.” – Various Small Flames \n“A Raymond Carver short story collection set to music by a Joan of Arc-era OMD” – MOJO Magazine \nadvancebasemusic.com \nadvancebase.bandcamp.com \ninstagram.com/advance_base \ntwitter.com/AdvanceBase \norindal.limitedrun.com/artists/advancebase

SUMMARY:Mindchatter - Giving Up On Words
DESCRIPTION:Singer\, songwriter\, and multi-instrumentalist Bryce Connolly\, better known as Mindchatter\, has built a reputation for his genre-defying electronic music\, blending introspective lyrics with infectious\, danceable beats. \nIn 2023\, he released two back-to-back EPs\, Spiritual Puberty and the grittier\, dance-floor-ready This Is A Reminder That You Are Not Behind Your Face. These followed his first two studio albums\, Imaginary Audience and DREAM SOUP. \nRenowned for his dynamic live performances that feature an immersive audio-visual experience along with him singing and playing several instruments\, Mindchatter has done his own headline tours along with supporting acclaimed artists like Polo & Pan and SG Lewis. \nIn 2024\, Mindchatter achieved a milestone selling out his 23-date A Chorus Of Monologues North American headline tour\, followed by international dates across the UK\, Europe\, Canada\, and the U.S.\, again selling out venues worldwide. He closed out the year with a direct support show at a sold-out Red Rocks Amphitheater. \nMindchatter has also become a staple on the festival circuit with appearances at Outside Lands\, Life Is Beautiful\, CRSSD\, Electric Forest\, Bonnaroo\, Lightning In A Bottle\, Coachella’s DoLab\, iii Points\, Hulaween\, Okeechobee\, and countless other marquee events. \nNovember 2025 marked the release of his third studio album\, Giving Up On Words. Says Connolly\, “This album is the closest I’ve come to defining Mindchatter. Giving Up On Words is about the quiet battle between the thoughts and their observer. It intentionally drifts between genres but stays consistent – whether it’s a dance track or a ballad\, the feeling is familiar.” \nIn February 2026\, Mindchatter will embark on his Giving Up On Words Tour\, where he will debut a reimagined live show and his biggest stage production yet.
