Awake: The Life Of Yogananda

AWAKE: The Life of Yogananda chronicles the life and teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, the spiritual teacher who brought yoga and meditation to the West, inspired millions through Autobiography of a Yogi, and founded the non-profit organization Self-Realization Fellowship. Filmed across 30 countries, the documentary weaves archival footage, modern interviews, and poetic imagery to examine the meeting of Eastern mysticism and Western science. The film, presented by the Albuquerque Meditation Group of Self-Realization Fellowship invites viewers into an exploration of consciousness, awakening, and the search for lasting inner peace.

NOTE:  The Albuquerque Meditation Group of Self-Realization Fellowship will also host a free inspirational talk and guided meditation on Friday, March 20 at 7 p.m. at the Marriott Albuquerque on Louisiana N.E. titled “How Meditation Can Transform Your Life.” All are welcome.
