American Hate – Survivors Speak

A documentary film that exposes the rise of violent hate crimes in America, through the lens of the victims and their families. After each screeening a panel discussion on Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women will take place with: Producer/Director-Emmy award winner Harry Gantz, Co-Producer/Director – Georgetown law proffesor, and racial justice advocate Arjun Sethi. Darlene Gomez, attorney and leading expert in MMIWR in New Mexico and throughout the US. Darlene is a founding member of the New Mexico MMIW Task Force. Erica Shelby(who appears in the film) is a member of the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Reservation in Western Montana, and founder of Just Indigenous Corporate Services, an organization that helps Indigenous families navigate the legal system when a loved one is missing or murdered.
